London's Newborn Photos

On Sunday, December 7th, When London was 1 month old, we were finally able to get London's newborn pictures taken, along with some family pictures. Because of my recovery, everything got pushed back, but better late then never!! I was extremely excited to have newborn pictures taken of London because we were not given the chance with Brynn and Mia because of how early they were born and all of Brynn's health issues. I was disappointed that we had to wait so long to have these pictures taken, but it ended up being perfect because we were able to see her little personality shine though!! I am absolutely in love with all of these pictures. They express such raw and real feelings, consumed with love on every possible level

November 2014

November was a wirl-wind and out first month as a family of 5! My delivery was harder then expected with some complications, which made my recovery that much more difficult. The hardest part for me was not being able to get out of bed for 2 weeks, but thank goodness for family! Everyone stepped in to help get Brynn and Mia ready, to and from school and helped them do homework, eat dinner and ready for bed. Simon then had a week off, so he turned in the Mr. dad and mom! I am so grateful for all the help we received!

Brynn and Mia enjoyed getting to know Miss London, however, they didn't expect her to sleep so much :) London was an amazing nurser and sleeper! At times she would sleep 5+ hours in the night. I guess that is one perk of having a big baby!! Brynn and Mia adjusted so well to having a baby sister! There was not 1 ounce of jealousy. Not even once. They purely were just in awe at how amazing she was. Wow! I have some wonderful little kids!! Mia loves to be a little mommy and has been extremely helpful! Brynn also likes helping out with his new sister!

We also celebrated Thanksgiving and my 30th birthday (which fell on Thanksgiving). We had a little scared with me bleeding, which landed me in the hospital in the middle of the night- no exactly where I wanted to begin my 30's!! But after a few hours we were discharged and sent home to try and get a little sleep :)
