October and November were a great 2 months! We enjoyed the weather staying nice a little longer then usual and made a few extra trips to the zoo! The highlight of October for the kids was obviously Halloween! Mia was so certain she was going to be Tinkerbell and Brynn wanted to be Spiderman, however, when we got to the Disney Store to purchased the costumes, Brynn and Mia decided they wanted to be Mickey and Minnie! Too bad Mia's Minnie Mouse Costume didn't still fit from last year! We took the twins to Boo at the Zoo! They had a blast. They dressed up, saw animals, went through mazes and of course went on a few rides :) We then did Trick-Or-Treat in our neighborhood and that was a blast too. One of our neighbors even had a Haunted House inside their house, that had us running to the door with two screaming kids!
We also enjoyed watching Garth run the Columbus Marathon! He ended up having amazing weather and finished with one of his best times! The kids also had their first chance to watch Simon play football. His medical school had 1st years verse 2nd year medical students, and Im pretty sure everyone knows what class won :) Daddy was a superstar that day! The kids loved cheering him on!
In November, Simon celebrated his 10 year reunion of winning the National Championship with OSU. Simon and I enjoyed the Michigan game and it was wonderful seeing and catching up with all of his old teammates. Simon and I also ran in the Hot Chocolate Run with two of his classmates from Medical School that are married (Mike and Jess). Let me tell you, after running a 5k, it is wonderful to get a bowl full of chocolate and yummy things to dunk into it! This was also the 1st year that we decorated a Gingerbread House as a family! Our Country Club always host Gingerbread decorating, and it was so much fun! I think Mia ate more candy then she actually put on the house, but it was a fun family event and will become a Fraser Family tradition! This was also the first year that Mia and Brynn helped decorate the Christmas tree! It was so sweet watching them pick out their ornaments and find the perfect place for them on the tree!
When Kirsten came into town for Thanksgiving, we thought it would be fun to go to the Zoo and see the Christmas lights! Both of our families went and it was so much fun. The lights are so beautiful, the kids go to ride on the Carousel, and we had family bonding time, which was so nice! We also thought it would be a good idea to do the Turkey-Trot on Thanksgiving! Why not run 5 miles before stuffing our faces with food?! My mom, Garth, Simon and I ran it and the guys traded on and off pushing the twins. Mia was all excited to run through the finish line with us, but when we pulled her out of the stroller she got scared with all of the people, so she decided to stay in the stroller.. but our Rock Star Brynn decided he wanted to run through the finish line holding mommy and daddy's hands! It was such a great feeling :) After then run both families got together at Marion and Hamish's house and had way too much fun! Wow! October and November were full of fun times and we made awesome memories! Thank you lord for blessing me and my family :)
