The Fraser Family: June 2012

At the end of March, beginning of April, Simon had another conference in DC. Simon's sister Kirsten lives in Washington and one of my best friends lives in Virgina, 1 hour outside of DC, so the twins and I decided to accompany Simon on his trip! We spent wednesday, thursday and part of friday with Kirsten. She took us all around DC sight seeing, and we were even given the oppertunity to tour the White House, which was amazing! We got to see where she lives and experence that part of her life. It was so much fun! Kirsten was a great tour guide and roommate for those 3 days!

Simon's conference was friday, saturday and sunday downtown, so I headed to my friend Jessica's house friday afternoon with the twins. I hadn't seen her since the twins baptism and this was my first time seeing their new house and meeting the sweetest addition to their family, Tenley! It worked out perfectly because we were even there to celebrate her son, Grant's, 4th birthday! We had a wonderful time catching up and the kids had so much fun playing together. I also enjoyed holding a little baby again! After a long few days for Simon, he met up with the twins and I at the Hoffman's house. Simon had a chance to talk to Jes and Andrew, and visit with Grant and Tenely. After a hour it was time to hit the road and headback to C-Bus! It was a wonderful long weekend adventure!

The rest of April and May seemed to fly by with just our normal routine of everyday life. Simon was still really busy in school and began studying for his finals and Brynn and Mia ejoyed their last few weeks of school before they were out for summer break! We were looking forward to sleeping in, swimming lessons, pool time and not having a set schedule!
