SIMON IS HOME! DADDY IS HOME! MY HUSBAND IS HOME! Hip Hip Hooray! Hip Hip Hooray! Simon officially moved home in August and is doing his last two years of medical school out of Doctors Hospital. After having Simon home for a few weeks, I tried to figure out how it did it by myself for the past 2 years! I guess you just do what you have to do! Needless to say, we all are extremely happy and grateful to be all together once again!
We spent the rest of August playing at the pool and going to the Zoo! The kids then started preschool again. Brynn is in the same classroom with the same teachers and a few of the same students. Mia has one of the same teachers and a lot of old friends from last year! The kids adjusted to being back at school very well. They have made wonderful relationships, which are so fun to watch.
Big news for Mia, she officially gave up her nuks! She was only allowed to have them in her bed at night and we all agreed it was time to give them up! The nuk fairy visited her at our house and at Dee Dee's house and left her a certificate for Toys R Us! When we went to Toy R Us and the certificate worked, she was elated! It was a rough few days but well worth it! I love seeing my beautiful little girl without a nuk in her mouth.
We also had a fun visit from some of our best friends Nick and Jamie! Simon had no idea and we surprised him at work! It was such a wonderful much needed visit with our extended family :)
We also spent time riding our bikes to OSU games for a little tailgating! The kids love doing that! We also enjoyed time at the park at supporting Upper Arlington Football! Lastly, my dad got a place on Lake Erie, so we went to stay with him for the weekend a few times. The kids loved doing their trick-or-treating, riding the golf cart around, meeting new people and spending time with some of our family there! August and September left us with some wonderful memories!!
