February and March were great months for us! However, February started off with us feeling the blues, without being able to play outside. It also seemed as if the twins were constantly sick. They seemed to just pass their sicknesses back and fourth! So at the end of February, Simon was planning on coming home for his spring break. We were not planning on going anywhere because we had just gotten back from Mexico, but we were making money with our business and we needed some much needed family time away from all distractions. Simon is extremely busy studying for his Step-1 Boards and is barely at home. Most weekends we see him for 24 hours. Therefore, we were tossing around ideas on where we could go for a short little trip and we decided to look at Disney! We found great deals and booked a last minute trip and decided that we would surprise Brynn and Mia. We ended up waking the twins up really early in the morning and we told them we were taking them on a surprise vacation! While in route there, numerous people asked them if they were going to Disney World, and Mia would always reply, "No, we're going on vacation!" When we finally landed in Orlando, we told them we were going to Disney World and they started screaming, "NO! NO!" They couldn't believe it! They were so excited! We were at Disney for 5 days 6 nights and it was so much fun! It took Mia a little bit to get used to the Characters, but Brynn was never shy nor scared! We visited all of the parks, but of course the favorite was Magic Kingdom! Their favorite rides were, Its a Small World, Aladdin, Dumbo, and The Barnstromer (a new kiddy roller-coaster). The weather was a little chilly but it worked out perfectly because we were never too hot! Midway through the trip, we allowed the kids to choose out a present. Mia choose a Cinderella dress along with the matching glass slippers and Brynn chose an angry Donald shirt, a Mickey shirt and a Goofy shirt! Mia loved it so much because when she wore her dress they would always announce there was a princess/ royalty on the bus, or getting on a ride! She ate it up!! She even some how got daddy to buy her an Aurora dress while I was on Tower of Terror :) After an amazing, exhausting week, fun week we had to return back to reality! Brynn woke up and asked and continues to ask to go to the Magic Kingdom! Maybe next year we will try the Disney Cruise :)
A the end of March we had 2 birthdays to celebrate!
HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY SIMON!! I told Simon that he was now an old man :) and could choose anything he wanted for his birthday. His 1st choice was a BMW M5 and I told him, well anything but that!!! Simon has become really interested with photography so he chose an amazing new camera and lense. Its hard to believe that Simon and I met right before his 20th birthday and he just celebrated his 30th! I guess the saying is true.. time flies when your having fun!
HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY BRYNN AND MIA!! Because we celebrated their birthday at Disney World we had a small family dinner and cake at home! Brynn got a Kareeokee machine and Mia got an Easy Bake Oven!
