March is always a fun month is the Fraser Household. We get to celebrate the Birthdays of 3 of the most important people I know!! Brynn and Mia turned 5 on March 26th. How is this even possible? Simon and I wonder where the time has gone. I guess that is why we decided we needed to start this process all over again :) Brynn and Mia are such joys in our life! Brynn continues to become more and more independent. He is now navigating the house without any issues, including going up and down the stairs, holding onto the handrail, all by himself. His one and only love of music is still in full force! Enjoying a wide variety of music from Guns-N-Roses to One Direction to Maroon 5! He seems to like all music except Country! We have no idea where that comes from, but anytime we have country music playing on our Bose Speaker, he is not a happy camper! We continue to work on his feeding. We are still doing purees, but are working hard to be able to move towards more solid foods!
Mia is still our little princess. Her and Brynn have become best buds. They have their moments, like all siblings, however they now enjoy playing together. They are really into barbies, and toy figures, that give them the ability to play house. Brynn has his Flynn Rider and Ken doll so he is not stuck playing with a barbie :) Mia is very independent and is very helpful with Brynn. even though they are twins, she has definitely taken over the Big Sister role. Helping him up if he falls down or helping him get toys if he is unable to reach! Mia has also made 2 good friends at school, Stella and Dillon, so she has enjoyed having playdates after school!!
So, how are we going to celebrate our Miracle Babies turing 5? We figured this would be the last year we could have just a family birthday, so we decided to have a Bowling Party! It was so much fun! The twins started by using a ramp to bowl with and then Mia decided she wanted to bowl the "regular" way and did an awesome job!!
The next day on March 27th, we celebrated the birthday of the most important man in our lives, Si aka Papa! The kids and I made him a brownie cake and made sure we let him have a relaxing day filled with lots of snuggles :)
