Not to be out done by her big brother.. Thursday May 14, 2009 was also a HUGE day for Mia. She took to a bottle for the first time. The nurse told us that she would like to see Mia finish the bottle in 25 minutes but it took Miss Mia 45 minutes because she kept falling asleep! Sorry there are no pictures for Mia.. the camera was left at home.. but we will post pictures from the next bottle feeding.
These kids are growing so fast and we are so excited to get them home soon.

Here are some pictures from Brynns big day:

Here we are standing with Dr. Cordero About an
hour after Brynn was put on CPAP.
Just checking out the world without a tube down
his throat. What a feeling!!
"Breathing on my own is awesome!"
Brynn is just showing off for the camera. Breathing
and sucking his binky all by himself.
Mama helping out with Brynns binky.

Brynn wearing dads wedding ring... as a bracelet!
Thanks for all the prayers and support!

Wow! I can't believe how big he has gotten and how alert he looks in the pics! He looks great! Is he still on CPAP? Both Byrnn and Mia are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat is so exciting to see-Brynn on CPAP!! He is growing so fast. The kids look great!
ReplyDeleteI am so verrrrry happy for you guys...Brynn is doing so well! such cute pictures!
ReplyDeleteGo Brynn!!! That is awesome, he looks wonderful!!!! We wonder how you guys are doing since you've left Children's, thanks for the updates. I miss Dr. Cordero and the "conversations" he would have with Ian. Ian's off CPAP for good now, on cannula and in a crib. He is nursing like a champ....even when he was on CPAP. They are giving him bottles, but he likes the breast better (a true man's man that boy is) We miss your friendly faces, but are so glad the twins are together and doing so well. Did you ever think we'd get to this point?
ReplyDeletekeep the updates and pictures coming!
